Hey March!


Can you even believe it's March already? Was it not just Christmas five minutes ago? Summer will be here before we know it! Wishful thinking? Mayhap! Now that we're out of deepest darkest February, the evenings are getting lighter, longer and warmer (let's just ignore today's hail storms, ok?). Those little snowdrops ^^ are popping up (snapped on another castle storming adventure) everywhere and I swear I saw some daffodils last week! 

In under four months, the Mr and I will be on our way to Canada for three whole weeks and I've only just realised how quick it's coming round! So, I've decided to set myself a few little goals for March and thought I'd share them on here, because why the heck not?

- To book the last part of our trip - an Airbnb or hotel for when we arrive in Toronto. 

- Organise some travel insurance.

- Start the holiday clothes shop now! 

- Get an exercise plan sorted. Last week was swimming, this week will be running around the park next to our house. In fact, while you're reading this I'll probably be huffing and puffing away in the rain!

- Spend Sundays meal planning for the week. The less money I spend in Tesco/Sainsbury's the more Canadian $$$ I'll have in June! 

- On that same ilk, try out some new recipes. We're really into Turkish and Greek food at the moment, so I've been pinning recipes right left and centre on Pinterest (here). 

- Sort out the last things to be unpacked in the house. Yep, we still have some unpacked boxes that I keep tripping over in the spare room! I will find a place for everything!!

- Start using up all the make-up/toiletries that I have squirrelled away. My dresser and bathroom shelves are overflowing!

- Drink more water...and maybe less coffee. Or just drink more water to counteract all the coffee!

- Plan more date nights with my lovely man this month. We were so busy in February that some days we only saw each other at bedtime!

- Be more productive aka watch less Netflix! Not really...well maybe only watch Netflix after I've done something productive...

- Listen to new music. I've finally jumped on the Spotify bandwagon (how lovely is Premium?!) and I'm obsessed with it! It's on the computer, my iPhone and iPad. Love at first listen!
